Cleaning Policy

There are new cleaning standards for ELEVATE Vacation Rentals post Coronavirus.

Strict measures are being introduced by us and gloable companies such as AIrbnb to protect travellers, hosts and cleaners from COVID-19. According to Airbnb news: The host Cleaning Protocol will include specific information on COVID-19 prevention, such as the use of personal protective equipment, like masks and gloves for hosts or their cleaners, as well as disinfectants that are approved by regulatory authorities. A CDC recommended 24 hour wait period before entering is also required, as a precaution to address the possibility of particles that may remain airborne for a few hours.

In addition to the airbnb cleaning regulations, our cleaners will be taking new precautions when turning over rental properties. They are as follows:

  • Masks are to be worn at all times and locations
  • Nitrile gloves are to be worn and changed after every clean – along with continued hand washing before and after
  • Hair is to be up
  • Social distancing is strongly recommended
  • ELEVATE will not clean for anyone under quarantine from travel until updates have been provided
  •  Staff will not show up if they have any symptoms of illness

Booking Procedure Post Coronavirus

While we enjoy greeting our guests, self-check-ins will continue until further notice.

ELEVATE Host Services will observe a minimum of 24 hours gap between each booking

Cancellation Policy as per Airbnb

Reservations for stays and Airbnb Experiences made on or before March 14, 2020, with a check-in date between March 14, 2020 and May 31, 2020, are covered by the policy and may be canceled before check-in. Guests who cancel will have a variety of cancellation and refund options, and hosts can cancel without charge or impact to their Superhost status. Airbnb will either refund, or issue travel credit that includes, all service fees for covered cancellations. In order to cancel under the policy, you will be required to attest to the facts of and/or provide supporting documentation for your extenuating circumstance.
